The lady's Finger or Okra (Vendakka)

The Okra commonly known as the lady's finger is one among the shinning star in my garden now.I have 3 pots with 2 plants each and one with a single plant. It was planted along with all other plants in my terrace garden. They were all only an inch in length when planted.Like the tomatoes they also love the sunlight and requires a minimum of 6 hours sunlight.

See some snaps in 15 days.

I am giving them manure in every 7 days & pesticides in every 3 days, but only organic ones(have mentioned about the combination in my tomato post). And in about 30 days they have started flowering.

Just see the first flower and an upcoming bud.

And in 5 more days see the progress..

Just see my full battalion smiling for a snap.

See my first harvest.

A few more..
