There are various varieties of eggplant.The ones which is available here are the violet & white ones.Currently the ones i have planted in my terrace garden is the violet ones.
The leaves of this plant also have that violet shade and very soft like velvets.
In about 40 days the plant started flowering.The flowers are lavender in color and are very shy to look up.It seems they don't want to face the world and all they want to see is the ground.
After a week from flowering the fruit has been visible to poss for the photo.See the cute little ones.
And here is the first harvest.
